The main objective of the study was to investigate the “effect of weight training on muscle
mass and strength of under 17 male box sport project of Harari regional state, Ethiopia
“In this study multistage sampling technique method was used to select 60 target group.
The first sampling method used to define subjects was availability then to place the
athletes in to groups simple random sampling was used. Experimental and control groups
was used and 12 weeks of strength training was delivered for the experimental group
while the control group was excluded from the training. Data collected from body weight,
chest circumference and waist circumference to check their body mass change and press
up, standing long jump and 1 maximum repetition weight lifting was used to check their
strength change before and after intervention. The data obtained was analyzed using
simple descriptive statistics (frequency, mean ± Standard Division) and independent
samples t-test (Mean Division, Standard Division mean and at significance levels) and
evaluated the point with Post-test of mean value to each variable’ tests. were Mean ±
Standard Division value of chest circumference, (Body Mass Index) test (point-78.20
±3.4972, point -79.4667±3.9379), body weight (point 65.6533 kg ±4.2165, point
- 68.0333 bpm±4.5022), waist circumference (point - 69.50 ±4.044, point - 71.6912
±4.058) 1 maximum repetition weight lift (point - 73.04 ± 5.044, point - 76.3333 ±4.658)
standing long jump (point - 2.5512 ±0.1397, point - 2.8325 ±0.2531) and press up (point -
29.5624 ±7.365, point - 34.4167 ±7.8011) of the target group were registered respectively
after 12 weeks continue strength exercise training program, which was indicated the
improvement of muscles mass and muscle strength of the target group. The result obtained
in this study indicated that there was a significant improvement in all the variables. The
study concluded that the effect of strength exercise training programs had a significant positive effect on the improvement of muscles mass and muscle strength of participants.
Based on the finding, the researcher recommended that it is quite clear that further
research is necessary on the title of ‘effect of weight training on muscle mass and strength
of under 17 male other sport project of Harari regional state, Ethiopia

The study was conducted to investigate the effect of Circuit training on muscular strength, and
muscular endurance: in case Danatora secondary school male students, in Haddiya zone
SNNPR Ethiopia. To achieve the purpose of the present study, 30 male students were selected
as study groups with age ranges 17-19 years. A simple random sampling technique was used.
The subjects were randomly assigned participated in circuit training for 12weeks i.e.2 days
per week 40-60-minute duration per day. Pre, and post training tests were conducted on
health-related fitness variables such as muscular, strength, and muscular endurance. The
data collected from the study subject were analyzed by using SPSS version 20 software. The
data per training to health-related fitness were analyzed by paired sample t test to determine
the difference between pre and post mean for participants. The mean value difference of push
up increased by 28.53 and, step up 35.27 increased by 12 weeks circuit training. The result
obtained in this study indicated that there was significant change in muscular, strength and
muscular endurance Based on this finding, it can be concluded that circuit training has
positive effect on health related fitness mal students 12 week circuit training had significant
effect muscular strength and muscular endurance of male students.

The primary purposes of the study were to assess effects of core stability training on balance
and core muscle strength and endurance of male students dire dawa Betenatan secondary
school. For this study 32 subjects (age 18-21) were randomly assigned into two groups with 16
experimental group and 16 control group. Experimental group were participated in core
stability training for three months whereas control group was not participated in any types of
exercise. The study design was experimental research design with pre and posttest
independently in both groups. Experimental group subjects performed moderate intensity core
stability exercises regularly 3 days per week with 40-60 minutes of each training session, for 12
weeks. Pre and Post Test were conducted on balance, core muscle strength and variables such
as one leg stand, plank and sit up respectively. The data was analyzed using SPSS version 20
software package. Independent sample t- test was used to determine whether there is a
statistically significant difference between both groups and the level of significance was at 0.05.
According to finding of the study, the significance difference between the groups (p>0.05) on
pre training test in all balance, core muscle strength and endurance assessments variables
which were non-significant. But on Post Test (p<0.05) in all balance (P=0.04), core muscle
strength (P= 0.04) and endurance (P=0.03) variables which were significant. Based on the
result and findings, core stability training shows more balance, core muscle strength and
endurance improvement. Since core stability exercise was found to have positive gain on the
improvement of core muscle strength, endurance and body balance, it is better to give emphasis
on such core stability exercise in the school teaching learning as well as fitness centers.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of 12week planned aerobic exercise on
selected Aerobic exercise (agility, flexibility and co- ordination ) of Male Football Players, In
Babile Town, Eastern Hararghe Zone 36 male football players free from any health problems,
with age group between 17 – 25 years were selected by random sampling technique from the
selected subjects were divided into 2 groups i.e. controland experimental groups randomly, each
group consisting of 18 players .The experimental group 12 weeks planned aerobic exercise
program, three days per week and the duration was50 minutes while, the control group
continued with their regular activity. Pre- test training test and post tests were conducted on the
selected Agility, Flexibility AndCo-Ordination such as sit and reach test, each subject was tested
at the same time of day. The data collected from subjects were analyzed bySPSS version 20.0 and
the effect of mean value results was carried out by paired sample t- test. The level of
significance was p<0.05. The finding of the present study showed significance (P0.05)
improvement in experimental group than control group of the study assit and reach test (Mean
difference 17.3861 ]Mean +SD (Mean difference 1.22472)and (Mean difference 12.234) for
experimental group. However, in the control group there was not significance difference or
improvement seen in all selected Agility, Flexibility and Co-Ordination. So this study concluded
that 12week aerobic exercise have a positive effect on improving these selected Agility,
Flexibility And Co-Ordination
