dc.description.abstract The purpose of the study was to investigate the major factors affecting the participation of female students in PE practical class in KHBSPS. To get supplementary information 64 female students sample were taken from Grade 9,10,11 and 12th students and 5 physical education teachers,3 school directors and 2 educational experts were selected as a study sample Technique. The data instrument were questionnaire, interview and focusing group discussion. For quantitative data, the questionnaire was distributed to 44 female participant and for qualitative data interviews was conducted with 5PE teachers and 3 school directors. The focus group discussion was held with Five school committee and 20 females student voluntarily out of 64 and 2 educational experts were participated. The data were analyzed through descriptive statics.This study finding out evidences the gaps of female students in practical class participation. Also in the study indicate absence of support as gap in addressing female students issue in practical class. The benefits of PE which the female students are getting were recorded very low. The conclusions were drawn the performance of the teachers ability to demonstrate during practical class was poor approach, most student respond poor school curriculum for females in practical activity was recorded low.Required materials and equipment found very low. In the school. Therefore the results showed that there are many factors which hindered (barriers) the female students participation in PE practical class. These include lack of support, lower economics status, lack of time, socio-cultural influence and lack of appropriate educational system.Based on the finding of the study,it is recommended to allow female students:develop awareness of the society ,doing interactively with stockholders, using appropriate teaching methodology ,fulfilled the required materials ,society must encourage female students to participate in different PE practical activities to enhance female students participation. en_US
