dc.description.abstract he main objective of this study is to investigate theAssessementof psychological factors onperformance of female football trainees in shone town of Hadiya Zone football training project, SNNPR Ethiopia. The researcher employed both quantitative and qualitative methodswith primary source ofdatato achieve the objective of the study. Primary data were collected from trainees, coaches, and sport’s office experts of the study area..The study employed descriptive survey research design. The quantitative data were analysed using descriptive statistics such as frequency and percentage by the help of SPSS software version 20, whereas the qualitative data was analyzed using narration. A total of 60 respondents (trainees) were selected for survey questionnaire by usingcensus sampling method. Furthermore, two coaches and one sport’s office expert was selected purposely. The findings of the study indicated that the trainees afraidof physical damage and were in a state of anxiety in this football training project. Female trainees were not getting the appropriate psychological support from the coaches and lack confidence. The trainees did not approach the coach without fear. Similarly, lack of sufficient academic documents that show the profiles of the coaches and the problem of follow up and budget allocation were also results of from thisstudy.The study showed that most of the traineers did not approach the coach with out fear.The study showed that the is no encouragable motivation in the project.The traineers should have both commitmen ts and intemate the coach without fear en_US
