| dc.description.abstract | This study attempted to explore effect of circuit training program on selected physical fitness components of female students. A purposive sampling technique was used to select thirty (30) participants from 136 female students of Enticho preparatory school for the study regarding on the design parameter and mechanisms. The first one selected only the age of 17, 18. Second criteria were given priority from low physical fitness to good physical fitness since they had beneficial from this study. The main objective of the study was to investigate “Effect of Circuit Training Program on Selected Physical Fitness Components of Female Students “In case of Enticho Preparatory School, Ahferom Wereda, Centeral Zone, Tigray Regional State, Ethiopia. The research design was informal experimental with pre-post without control groups design. The physical fitness variables selected for the study were muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, speed and agility. The collected data was analyzed by using paired sample “t”test (SPSS) software with pair wise comparison of means at 95% confidence interval was performed. To determine the difference between pre training and post training mean value after 12 weeks continues training the subject was registered significant improvement on each selected physical fitness components 3.53 and 5.2 mean difference was registered by sit up and push up test respectively. Which turn indicates the improvement of muscular strength and muscular endurance .Sit and reach test and 30 meter dash test performance was improved by 1.64cm and -0.83sec after12 weeks flexibility and speed exercise subjects were engaged in. the mean difference value in agility test was decreased by -3.07 the result indicate the effective change was observed on participants agility performance. The result obtains in this study indicate that there were significant improvement in all the selected physical fitness components. The main finding of the study showed that the effect of circuit training program has positive effect on improvement of physical fitness components of female students | en_US |
