dc.description.abstract |
The primary purpose of the study was to assess the status and practice of fitness centers in
the case of Assosa town. The sample of this study was from the two fitness centers of Assosa
town. Among the total 130 trainees and 4 coaches, 20 trainees and 2 coaches from Olympic
fitness center and 20 trainees and 2 coaches from champion fitness center were selected as
subjects. The data were collected through questionnaires, interview, and observation
the study employed on the qualitative and quantitative method. The research was to
evaluate different problems of the fitness center such as gym equipment and facilities, the
coaches professional career, training experience and relation among sport administrators.
These results indicated that any training can be successful and effective if there are
sufficient fitness center facilities and equipments for example, every fitness trainers
performs their activity with sufficient equipments and standard gyms they can master the
required skill easily. So that constructing standard fitness center, strong relation among
sport administrator, qualified coach, good facilities and fulfilled fitness materials are vital
to the trainees to do exercise and to develop their fitness level. |
