dc.description.abstract The main objective of the study was to investigate the “effects of aerobic-circuit exercise on muscular and cardiovascular endurances of male students: the case of haramaya university model high school; oromia regional state, Ethiopia” in this study quasi-experimental design was implemented and Purposive sampling method was used to select 5 section from 10 section and by using a lotter method sixty-four (64) target group were selected from76 total male students of population. The physical fitness variables selected for the study were upper and lower body muscular endurance, abdominal muscular endurance, and cardiovascular endurance. Data collected from health-related physical fitness Variables’ measurements were analyzed through descriptive statistics (mean ± SD) and paired sample T-test (MD, SD mean and at significance levels) and evaluated the PoT-of mean value with international normative value with each variable’s measurements. were Mean ± SD value of chin up test (3.61±1.610 PT, 8.55±2.047 PoT), Sit-up test (14.91±3.370 PT, 21.70±4.969 PoT ), Harvard step test (57.38±8.760 PT, 71.14±5.052 PoT) and wall squat-test (35.92±3.627 PT, 65.41± 5.221 PoT) and (4.94, 6.79, 13.76 and 29.484 of mean difference) of the target group were registered respectively after 12 weeks continue aerobic-circuit exercise training program, which was indicated the improvement of muscular and cardiovascular endurances of the target group. The result obtained in this study indicated that there was a significant improvement in all the selected physical fitness variables. The study concluded that the effect of aerobic-circuit exercise training programs had a significant positive effect on the improvement of muscular and cardiovascular endurance of the target group. Based on the finding, the researcher was recommended that it is quite clear that further research is necessary on the tetile “effect of aerobic-circuit exercise training program on health-related physical components in high school, in both sex and in different age categories of other than students en_US
