dc.description.abstract The purpose of the study was to assess the comparative study on male and female students’ attitude towards physical education: the case of bedenoworedasecondary school students, bedeno district, east haraghe zone, oromia regional state. Using mixed type of research design, it is attempted to seek out .the comparative study on male and female students’ attitude towards physical education. Collected from 292 students, 3 PE teachers,4 vice principal and 3 School principals. In the selection of the Sample population, purposive and simple random sampling techniques have used. The study carried out with descriptive survey method and both qualitative and quantitative approaches had used. The main instrument of data collection was questionnaires, interviews, and observation checklist. The data obtained through these analyzed both quantitatively and qualitatively. Quantitatively the analysis made using tables of descriptive percentage and then worded through qualitative. Based on analysis made comparative study on male and female students’ attitude towards physical education were drawn, as the finding of the study shows that factors influence male and female students’ attitudes towards PE were lack of materials,Teacher,facility and religions influence, and negative attitude towards PE. Therefore, based on the findings of the study, it is recommended to allow male and female students to compare attitude towards learning in physical education. With the help of PE teachers. It is also recommend that the school adjust program and arrange class should be full-filled to enhance male and female student’s attitude of physical education class. en_US
