Themainpurposeofthestudywasinvestigated challenges of grade twelve femalestudents inhandballpracticalclassinWuchale-17secondaryschool.Theresearchwasused descriptive surveymethodandusedbothqualitativeandquantitativedesignmethod.The quantitative data obtained through closedended questionswereanalyzedwithdescriptivestatisticslikefrequencyand percentage.Datacollectedfrom openendedquestionsofthe questionnaire, interview and observation were thematically analyzed by using words or phrases.Ina studysite thereareanumberofproblems.From thesetentitles were identified.Amongthese again“challenges of femalestudents inhandballpracticalclass” is selected because it is a crucial problem in thestudy site. Samples were takentwenty percent from the total population of two hundred grade twelve female students.Therefore, from these students, forty students were selected byusingsystematicsamplingtechnique.So,firstinvestigatorcombinedallstudentstogetherandarrangedtheirnamesalphabetically.The investigator was then gave a roll number one up to two hundred students. From these students the investigator was started the fifth student and then every fifth student was selected up to the last two hundred students. The investigator was so founded forty students as a sample.Forsupplementaryinformation ten physical education teachers, ten parents of grade twelve female studentsand four school principals selected purposively and included inthemain study.Handballpracticingisoneof theessentialsport activity fortheskilldevelopments of female students.Atthestudysitebut major findings, indicated thatparents, school’s principals and other concerning bodiesless attitude, lowaid of sport materialsandthelike have been hindered to femalestudents’handball practicing.Basedonthe findings,it isrecommendedtoallconcerningbodiesshouldencouragethemand fulfilled handballmaterialsforminimizingfemalestudents’engagement inhandball practicing.And

students haveeighteenupto twenty five yearsold. So,they were undergone two practical days per a week without the normal physical education classes. |
