Abstract:
Football was the most well-liked sport in the world. It can be played by young and old, boys and
girls, by elite and physically or mentally challenged and on small or wide field. This study focused
on the factors Affecting Skill Related Physical Fitness of U-17 Football Project trainees of BunoBedele
Town.Thus, 30 football players and 2 coaches and 1 sport office administrator as a respondent
were selected from the targeted population of the study.This study is important to minimize the
problem by finding the solutions and promote better performance.The purpose of this study was to
provide views of both players and coaches on training and how it affects physical fitness and football
project training of the BunoBedeletown. The research was used both quantitative and qualitative by using
descriptive research design. The data were collected by using open and close ended questionnaires,
interview and observation and were analyzed by spss version 20 at p<0.05 and described in terms of
frequency and percentage by using table. Accordingly, the result indicates that the problem of
practicing the practical session, financialproblems, parental factor, nutritional problem,
administrational problem toward allocating properly the training as well as budget and the
coach have not play significant role which is expected from its professional were seen as one of
the major problem that affect the skill related fitness of the U 17 project trainees in the
BunoBedele town. So, the Sport office of BunoBedele town is expected to motivate the coaches by
increasing salary and implementing other motivation al mechanisms because a satisfied coach has a
greater impact on the development of elite players in a team.The leader organized bodies of the football
projects in Bedele town are expected to reconsider their existing structure in a manner of increasing
moral, holding individual and duty among the leader, the players and the coaches.
