dc.description.abstract The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of resistance exercise and pasteurized cow milk on muscular strength and endurance. For operating this research, twenty (20) male football players of grawa town who had interested to participate in this study with the age of (19-23) were selected by simple random sampling from 50 total populations. The selected subject were divided in to two groups as resistance exercise alone group (REGr=10) and resistance exercise with cow milk supplement group (RECMGr=10). RECMGr consume 250ml of cow milk without any addition per day for 2 days per week. REGr and RECMGr were took resistance exercise for three months, twelve weeks, 2 days per week and for 35 min. The pre and post test were conducted on parameter such as muscular strength and muscular endurance. In this study was used SPSS version 22 software for all statistical analysis. this study was used one way analysis of variance (ANOVA) to compare changes between groups before and after intervation at p<0.05 and General liner model (GLM) used to compare mean and mean difference between groups. As analysis of variance for upper, abdominal and lower limb muscular strength and endurance shows that there was no significant variation between the groups during the pre involvement. But the post test result indicate that significant difference between the two group at p<0.05. The pretest mean value for upper, abdominal and lower limb muscular strength and endurance were 24.8 and 23.8 for REGr and RECMGr, 4.21 and 4.25 for REGr and RECMGr and 8.74 for REGr and 8.15 for RECMGr respectively. Lastly the posttest mean value for upper, abdominal and lower limb muscular strength and endurance were recorded as 28.97 and 36.89 for REGr and RECMGr, 5.71 and 7.23 for REGr and RECMGr and 10.41 for REGr and 13.55 for RECMGr. The mean difference value for upper, abdominal and lower limb muscular strength and endurance between pre and post was 5.22 and 13.35 for REGr and for RECMGr, 1.5 and 2.98 for REGr and for RECMGr and 1.67and 5.4 for REGr and for RECMGr respectively. This study was concluded that resistance exercise combined with cow milk supplement have positive effect on muscular strength and endurance than resistance exercise alone. en_US
