Abstract:
The main purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of twelve weak aerobic
exercises on some selected health related physical fitness components of female students.
The study design of this research was true experimental method. Simple random sampling
technique was used to select subjects as well as to assign subjects for control group (CG)
and experimental group (EG)while purposive sampling was used to select the sample sex
and the study area. In addition to this, the data were analysed by taking 50% or 60 female
sample student from the total population of 150 female studentsthrough representative
sapling tableand the selected subjects were divided into two equal groups (n=30) control
group and (n=30) experimental group. The ages of the subjects were ranges from 15 up to
16 years. Twelve week aerobic exercise training in 3 days/week program like jogging,
running ,rope skipping, jumping jack for CVE, chest press, squat, plank to shoulder tap,
cross layup for ME and side lunge , forward lunge and other stretching work out for
flexibility wereperformed by experimental group and the control group did not perform
this selected aerobic training unless both groups undergone normal physical education
class program. Both groups had taken pre and post-test evaluation test. The pre and post
test result of the two groups of 30 subjects cardiovascular endurance was measured using
12 minute run test, muscular endurance was measured by 900
angle push up test, and
flexibility was measured using sit and reach test. After three months, post-test
measurement on the same parameters was taken. The difference between the tests were
analysed statistically with one way ANOVA at the level of significance was P<0.05 to
determine the difference between initial and final mean for the group. According to
analysed data the mean difference value after twelve week aerobic exercise boosted in
12minute running test performance by 870 meters mean difference was recorded, in push
up 4.8 mean difference was recorded, and in sit and reach test 3.74 cm increments were
observed throughout the study period. The result obtained in this study indicated
thatthere were significant improvement in cardiovascular endurance, muscular endurance
and flexibility. Based on this finding, it can be concluded that aerobic exercise has
significant effect on improvement of selected health related physical fitness components of
female students
