The purpose of the present study was to determine the effect of selected aerobic exercise on selected health related physical fitness of students in Kara Meganne secondary school. The researcher was employed experimental design and was used compressive sampling technique to select the subject but used purposive sampling for sample sex, and the study place. Month of aerobic exercise could improve student’s health related physical fitness components. 36 male samples had divided into 2 equal groups, (n=18) control group and (n= 18) experimental group. The experimental group performed in a 3-month aerobic exercise training program like walking, running, rope skipping and stretching exercise. However, the control group did not perform this selected aerobic exercise training program unless all groups undergone normal physical education class program. All subjects participated in 3 aerobic exercise tests: 12 minute run test, 90 degree push up test, and sit and reach test. The student trained 3 days a week for a total of 12 weeks, which consisted of a 12 weeks per iodized training program. Both had taken pre and post- testing. Experimental method had employed to collect data used to analyze the change mean scores to experimental and control group for (pre- post) values-1.420 and-2.074 of cardio vascular endurance, .19.556 and. 30.556of muscular endurance and 8.667 and 15.50 of flexibility. The data had analyzed and compared with the help of statistical procedures in which arithmetic mean, standard deviation and Paired-Samples t test had worked. The level of p≤0.05 was considered significant. The result show significant relationship of experimental group on ability with cardio vascular endurance, muscular endurance and flexibility results of significant level 0.00, 0.00 and 0.00 respectively. The results of this study showed that the selected aerobic exercise training improved student’s health related physical fitness components. Generally i recommend that aerobic exercise should be incorporated at school, such program help to improve the health related physical fitness component of students |
