Abstract:
The major purpose of this research was to assess the Influencing Factors in Teacher Student Interaction in Physical Education Class, in Denebaand Karl High Schools.The subject of the study were 110(100%) and 66 students from Deneba secondary school from these 33 male and 33 female and 44 students from Karl secondary school from these 22 male and 22 female. And also 9 school workers from both schools were taken for sample population. Generally, 1194samples were taken, out of which 110 students, 4 school Directors and 5 physical education teachers were selected for the study, and systematic random sampling techniques were used in the study. Data collected from the participants were analyzed using tables and interpreted by means of both qualitative and quantitative analysis methods. Some of the major findings include the majority of students (64.5%) in the sample schools have less interest to participate physical education class. Environmental and geographical (52%), Biological (94.5%), Economical (93%) physical and physiological factors (89.1%) are major factors that hinder the participation of students during physical education class. Hence, it is recommended that depending on the result of findings, concerned bodies such as parents, physical education teachers, school Directors, Zone and woreda educational bureau, Should create awareness for students about the benefits of physical education subject. Physical education teachers should apply student centers teaching approach in order to motivate student to increase the interaction of student and teachers
