Data gathered through open ended questionnaire, interview and observation were analyzed qualitatively. The finding of the study identified that availability of play field was found to be low while outdoor and indoor facilities and equipment, class size, and athletics equipment were moderately available in the school. The finding of the study also identified that maintenance culture and handling practices maintenance, handling and management practices of PE facilities and equipment was found to be poor. The result of the study revealed that PE handling and management practices and budget/finance related constraints were the major challenge that hinders handling and management practices of PE facilities and equipment. Based on the major finding of the study and the problems addressed, the researcher recommended that principals need to develop maintenance culture of PE facilities and stakeholders( teachers, students, principals and parents) need to give due consideration for handling and management practices of PE facilities and equipment in the school.
