Abstract:
The main purpose of this study was to assess students perception to wards physical educatio teachers interactions during teaching physical education in Ttiyo woreda secondary schools in Arsi zone, Oromia,Ethiopia. The sample of study consisted of 188 students 4 physical education teachers, and 4 school principals drawn from the four secondary schools. The research methodology employed in the study was a descriptive survey. Regarding sampling technique, students were selected from each sample schools by using stratified random sampling technique . Physical education teachers and school principals were selected by using purposive sampling technique. Through the use of questionnaires and semi-structured interviews students, physical education teachers, and school principals shared their ideas about students perceptio to wards physical educatio teachers interactions during teaching physical education in tiyo woreda secondary schools in Arsi zone, Oromia, Ethiopia The frequency counts and percentage are used to make analysis of the data obtained from the respondents under the study. . The major findings of this study included physical education teachers were not being respected by students in the school under study.(68%), physical teachers and learning conditions in the schools under study (114.3%. the interclass relationship exists between physical education teachers and students was not more smooth in the schools under study.(72.3%) and better attention was not given by students to physical education teachers Therefore, on the basis of the findings, the researcher recommended that the physical education teachers should participate in different school sport programs to be respected by students in the school. The research concluded as students should support physical education teachers and learning conditions, physical education teachers should make smooth relationship with students patiently when they go to ask questions, and the better attention should give for physical education teachers by students in order to improve the teaching process. and the perception of teacher-student interaction
