dc.description.abstract The purpose of the study was to find out the effect of interval training on agility, speed and core strengthfor football player students of Mena secondary school. Thirty football players were selected as subjects. The selected subjects were divided into two groups of fifteen each (n=15). The ages of the subjects ranged from 18 to 19 years. The experimental group was high intensity interval training group, and a control group. Initial test on 35 meter run, Illinois agility and plank test was conducted for all the groups and the performance was recorded for these groups. The experimental group was administered for twelve weeks training. The control group was not given any treatment. After 12 weeks the final test was taken on 35 meter run, Illinois agility and plank test for experimental group and control group. The collected data was statistically analyzed by using SSPS Version. The result of the study was interval training group was significant improvement in compared to the control group. The schedule of training was three days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday)for three Months(October, November and December2022).The study wasExperimental study. Pre &Posttest measurements were taken from trainees before & after the experimental period of three months. The results of both control and experimental group was analyzed and putted in the form of mean and standard deviation. The result indicated that the pre and posttest ofcontrol group students wasas low. Butthe results of pre and posttest ofexperimental group students was good. The three parameters (Agility, Speed and Core Strength)of the studentshad significantly improved through interval training. The result concluded interval training methods was good for improvement of agility, speed and core strength of the students. en_US
