Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of regular physical exercise on health related
physical fitness components in Hasasa secondary school male students. To accomplish this 60
participants were Selected by purposive sampling techniques based on physical exercise
readiness questionnaires from the total number of 340 grade 10thmalestudentswhich are between
the age of 17-19 Who are not participated in any other regular physical fitness program
previously. The participants were divided as 30 experimental and 30 control groups randomly.
The study employed experimental research design. The participants were exercised for 12 week,
three days per week, for 45-60 minutes per session on regular physical exercise. The control

composition was measured by 3 minutes step up, push up,sit up,sit and reach and body mass
index respectively .Before the training program pretest were taken for each variables and at the
end of also post test was taken from the participants. Raw data was statically analyzed by using
paired sample t-test by using SPSS version 24 at the p-value (p<0.05).After the analysis of the
pretest and post test the mean difference of cardiovascular was=28.267,muscular strength=-
12.733,muscular endurance=-11.400,flexibility=-8.5167 and body mass index= 0.21500,so the
experimental group was improved significantly. But no significant improvement were showed in
all selected variables for control group (p> 0.05),thus the formulated alternative hypothesis is
accepted. Therefore the result indicated that regular physical exercise have positive effect on
health related physical fitness components of Hasasa secondary school male students that
enhancing their performance .Regular physical exercise has significant effect on health related
physical fitness components Based on this people should have participated in regular physical
