Abstract:
This study was conducted with the objectives of investigating the Problems and Prospects of Coaching Football with Specific References to Oromia Special Zone Surrounding Finfinne, Mulo District Kamise Town Oromia Regional State, Ethiopia. Among these, 25(78.12%) were football players whereas 2(6.25%) were coaches and 5(15.63%) sport office experts. Accordingly, Data used for the study have mainly been acquired through Census sampling method from total population of 32 participants. Were included in the questionnaire from these all 32 participants and while coaches and sport office experts were participated in interview. Mainly, descriptive (frequency distribution and percentage) method of analysis has been utilized to analyze the data collected through questionnaire and the data from interview and open ended questions were analyzed through qualitative technique. The findings of the study indicated that the following major problems were dominant in the Mulo district kamise town club: based on the findings most of the sport office experts have not understand the value of football, lack of materials and equipment, lack of base his selection on scientific criteria, lack of community support, lack of attendance during training, lack of recording and analyzing the history and profile of the players, the discipline of the players, it was recommended that the Oromia Special Zone Surrounding Finfinne Mulo district Kamise Town in collaboration with Creating incentives in the community to encourage players, It is very crucial and necessary to consult the local and city communities and convince them to participate in it as the sports office and an individual cannot solve the shortages of training equipment
