dc.description.abstract The purpose of the present study was to determine the effect of football training on some selected physical fitness qualities of males’ youth projects. The researcher was employed experimental design and was used census sampling technique. 3 month of football training could improve player’s physical fitness qualities such as squat jump, Bounding speed and Illinois agility drill. The researcher wos used the training principle, this training session wos designed for three months, and based on principle of frequency, intensity, type and principle of rest and recover it wos three days per week, one day rest in between exercise session with 60 minutes each. 32 Subjects had divided into 2 equal groups, an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group performed in a 3-months physical fitness qualities training program like as squat jump, Bounding speed and Illinois agility drill. However, the control group did not perform this selected fitness training qualities unless all groups undergone normal training program. All subjects participated in 3 physical fitness qualities tests: explosive leg power, 30-meter run and Illinois agility. The players trained 3 days a week for a total of 12 weeks, which consisted of a 12 weeks per iodized training program. Both had taken pre and post- testing. Experimental method had employed to collect data used to analyze the change mean scores to experimental group for( pre-post) value -1.75000 and control group for (pre- post) values -1.62500 of explosive leg power, .26250 for experimental group and .33125 for control group of 30-meter run and .43125 for experimental group and .34375for control group of Illinois agility. The data had analyzed and compared with the help of statistical procedures in which arithmetic mean, standard deviation and Paired-Samples t test had worked. The level of p≤0.05 was considered significant. The result show significant relationship of playing ability with explosive leg power, Speed and Agility results of significant level 0.000, 0.001 and 0.000 respectively. The results of this study showed that the selected physical fitness quality training improved players’ physical performance. Generally selected physical fitness quality training had a significant effect on experimental players’ performance through the required tests. en_US
