dc.description.abstract Polyaniline-Titanium(IV) tungstomolybdate (PANI/TTM) nano-photocatalyst was prepared by mixing polyaniline (PANI) with its inorganic counterpart titanium(IV) tungstomolybdate (TTM) using the sol–gel method. The nanophotocatalyst was characterized by X-ray diffractometer (XRD), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), UV- Visible spectroscopy, Thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA-TDA), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and Photoluminescence (PL). pH of Zero point charge. Concentration and scavengers behaviors were investigated to explore the photocatalytic behavior of the nanocomposite material. In order to explore the environmental applicability of the PANI/TTM nanocomposite material, its antimicrobial and photocatalytic activities were investigated. About 86% of methylene blue dye was photocatalytically degraded within three hours exposure of visible light. It showed a promising antibacterial activity at 20 µL for inhibiting the growth of S.typhi and E.coli (Gram negative), S.Galatiae and S.aureus (Gram positive) bacteria. It is thermally stable as it retained 85 % of its initial weight up to 400 ºC. en_US
