Abstract:
In this thesis, we present a fully relativistic description of associated
production via NC
neutrino-nucleon weak interaction. In the Lab frame where the target nucleon is at rest; the
kinematics and dynamics of the process of interest were evaluated separately. It was shown that
the norm squared invariant amplitude, which is proportional to the differential cross section, can
be constructed as the contraction between the leptonic and hadronic tensors. In order to
determine the eighteen unknown form factors parameterizing the hadronic vertex for the process,
we used the Born term approximation that employs the SU(3) symmetry and Cabibbo V-A theory.
Finally, the numerical analysis of the differential cross section was performed by using MatLab
R2016a. In both angular and energy distributions, the s-channel was found to be dominant.
Although the contributions of the t- and u-channels are negligible, their inclusion tend to slightly
suppress the total differential cross section. The angular distribution was also shown to be
forward-peaked, and hence the associated
production can be treated as the fowrad
scattering process
