dc.description.abstract Background: Client satisfaction is considered as an indicator of quality of care and its social image. Assessing to what extent clients are satisfied with delivery care services is relevant as level of satisfaction affects service utilization directly or indirectly. Regardless of that most studies had been conducted in Ethiopia; there is limited study about mothers’ satisfaction on delivery services and associated factors in the study area. Objective: The objective of this study was to assessMothers` satisfaction towards delivery service and associated factors among women who gave birth in Tullo woreda public health facilities, west Hararghe, Oromia region, eastern Ethiopia, 2020 Method: Facility based cross sectional study design and quantitative methods was used to study mothers` satisfaction among women who gave birth in Tullo District public health facilities from September 1-30, 2020. The systematic random sampling method was used to select a total of 361 women who gave birth in the Woreda.Primary datawas collected using structured and pre tested interviewer administered questionnaire by face to face. Level of satisfaction was measured by using twelve standardized questions. The collected data was entered in to EPI data Version 3.2 and SPSS version 23 for analysis while the strength of association was measured using adjusted odds ratio and 95% confidence interval and P-values below 0.05. Result:355 women were included in this study giving response rate of 98.3%.The overall satisfaction of mothers on delivery service was 51% with 95%CI (45.9, 56.6).The mean age of respondents was 27.783+6.738 standard deviation. (48.2% & 40.6%) of them had an average monthly income of <500 and 500-1000 ETB respectively.ANC follow up & mode of arrival was significantly associated with satisfaction in this study. women who had ANC follow up were three times more likely to be satisfied than those who had no ANC follow up AOR at 95% CI was 3.011(1.702,5.328) p value 0.00. Participants who said no maternity ward toilet in the facility were three times more satisfied than those who claims that there is a toilet AOR at 95% CI was (3.010(0.577, 15.701)). Conclusion:Prevalence of satisfaction of women with delivery service in this low when compared with most studies conducted in Ethiopia. In this study, ANC follow up and mode of arrival were significant predictors of satisfaction. en_US
