Abstract:
As a result, ensuring quality education at all levels of education remains to focus on areas of the
education sector the purpose of this study the researcher is to asses practices and challenges in
education quality management in secondary schools of Jijiga city administration The population
of interest in this study was the teachers,principle,parents,students of jigjiga secondary school
The selection of the respondents was done through a simple random sampling technique the
sample size of the study was 171 of all PTPS(principle,teachers,parents,students) of the Jigjiga
secondary school Both Primary and secondary data was collected for the study. Primary data
was gathered through questionnaire. The Secondary data was collected from documents review
the data was analyzed through descriptive statics mean and percentage were used the study
found that the limited access to technology and education resources negatively affect education
quality management also the study found that the curriculum effectively meets the requirements
and guidelines set by educational standards. Finally this study recommended and suggests that
the curriculum is designed to promote a high-quality education and provide students with the
necessary knowledge and skills. This is a suggestion for practice and challenge in education
quality management in secondary school while collecting the data I saw things that needed to be
added or changed. According to the finding of the study I recommend to expand and accelerate
the training and development of teachers to improve the quality of management.in order to
increase the knowledge of the students and get good quality students
