dc.description.abstract The study was focused on school leaders’ intervention practice in student’s disciplinary problems of Government Primary schools in Jijiga City Administration. To realize the purpose of the study descriptive survey research design was employed. The study included 183 teachers, 30 students, 10 principals, 11 PTA members and 50 home room teachers which were selected with stratified random sampling techniques on purposive teachers and principals, PTA, students ‘council and homeroom teachers committee. Questionnaires, interview and document review were used as data gathering instruments. The collected data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, Average mean, standard deviation and ANOVA by using SPSS V.16.0. For quantitative data and qualitative data were analyzed through thematization and conceptualization along with data from questionnaire. The findings of the study showed that leadership intervention on students discipline problem practice in Jijiga City Administration. The study revealed that there was gap of between school leadership practice and students’ discipline problems this study also indicated lack school leadership intervention practice. Moreover, the challenges faces school leadership was less motivation of teachers, intervention strategies is need, and lack of system to alleviate disciplinary problems. Based on these findings, it was recommended that to satisfy the solving student’s discipline problems the different stakeholders, school leaders have to prepare system to students who promote Primary schools shared information concerning gaps of school leadership intervention practice and how to overcome the gaps. Leadership intervention and students disciplinary problems as the teachers not understand enough using with causes of students disciplinary problems they need reducing students discipline problem concerning. Parents did not get information in schools except when there is problem. Finally, based on the findings, some recommendations were forwarded as how to alleviate students disciplinary problems therefore school leaders and other stake holders focus school Leadership intervention current situation students discipline problems finally the Jijiga city administration government Primary schools have not school legal document policy because they have old norm en_US
