dc.description.abstract The main purpose of this study was to investigate English teachers’ practices of giving ’Written Corrective Feedback on students’ paragraph writing. Thus, the study used descriptive research method in order to get an insight into teachers’ practices of written corrective feedback on students’ paragraph writing focusing on grade ten students of General Wako Gutu secondary school. Among various teachers’ practice, the study was limited to the types, forms, techniques, and how frequently written corrective feedback was given on students’ paragraph writing. For the success of the study, descriptive research design was employed with mixed methods approach of data collection and analysis. Questionnaire, interview and document analysis were the major instruments used for gathering data. The population of the study was four English teachers selected by availability sampling technique and 45 students chosen by random sampling technique. The data collected by open ended en_US
