dc.description.abstract The purpose of this study is to assess vocabulary teaching Strategies implemented by English teachers in Kebribeyah Grade 11 Abdulahi Bede Secondary and Preparatory School. The specific objectives of the study is, to assess whether vocabulary teaching strategies implemented or not by English teachers, to identify how English teachers implement vocabulary teaching strategies, to assess the extent English teachers help students of vocabulary teaching strategies. The researcher chooses an explanatory sequential design method because it increases popularity. To achieve the objectives3 English teachers and 35students, 23 male and 12 female participated from grade11twosections. The main data gathering instrument were questionnaire, observation and interview .The finding and the result of the study indicated that all memory and social strategies completely implemented. On the other hand,cognitive, Metacognitive and, Determination strategies partially implemented. en_US
